Learn a few tips for international relocation during these difficult times.
The COVID-19 pandemic has given us perspective on many things that we take for granted in our daily lives. One of those things is traveling or moving internationally. With travel restrictions in place since the outset of the pandemic, it has been extremely difficult for those moving to another country to do so safely and while following all protocols. In this blog post we will discuss everything you need to know about moving overseas and the steps to take to ensure your move goes off without a hitch.
Understand that you can indeed move internationally during the pandemic
Although international traveling restrictions are changing on a daily basis, there are currently many countries that are accepting American citizens who are relocating. It’s important to do your research and to constantly check the traveling restrictions for the country you will be relocating to. As long as the country is allowing American citizens to travel to their country, there is no reason why you can’t safely move during this time.

If you are considering moving to one of the above countries, we still advise that you research all of the country’s guidelines thoroughly before going through with any relocation plans.
Make sure to follow CDC guidelines to stay safe during the move
When you have made the decision to relocate internationally for work, or any other reason, it is important to make sure that you and your family are safe, both during the move and once you get to your destination. Make sure to follow all CDC guidelines, and if you or a family member are considered high-risk for the virus, it is suggested that you hold off on your move until either you are vaccinated or the country you are moving to has a strong vaccination plan in place. It is important to pay close attention to the countries that have dealt better with the spread of COVID-19 and those that have struggled as well.
